My name is Maya Martin. I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry (DDS 2002, and BS Biology 1996.)

I am originally from Yugoslavia. I came to the US at age 17 as an exchange student. I fell in love with North Carolina, going to school and living in Cashiers, NC...way up in the beautiful mountains. I attended UNC Chapel Hill on a basketball scholarship, and ultimately completed my dental school studies there. It is at UNC that I met my husband Chris.

I have been in private practice in Raleigh since 2002. I love the practice of dentistry, and find great satisfaction in the meeting the challenges posed by this 'detail oriented' profession.
